The important bits, in plain English
- You'll need a Toniebox: use your own, or rent ours for $19/month (billed yearly on the Year Pass).
- Shipping is $1 a month on the Monthly plan and free on the Year Pass.
- Rented Tonies belong to Tonie Rentals. Please don't sell, gift or keep them after you cancel.
- Cancel a monthly plan anytime and you won't be charged again. Just send your Tonies back within 7 days after your last paid month.
- The Year Pass renews yearly unless you turn renewal off, and it is non-refundable once your first Tonie ships (full refund if you cancel before that).
- Lost, broken beyond normal wear, or not back within 30 days of the due date: $19 per Tonie (for a rented Toniebox, its current tonies.com price), charged to your card on file.

How does renting Tonies work?
Pick the Tonies your kids want and add them to your lineup, planning up to 12 months ahead. Choose a plan and check out, and your first box ships within 2 business days. Do we get to choose our Tonies?
Yes, that's the fun part! Pick a Tonie for each month, up to 12 months ahead, in any order. Leave a month empty and we'll choose for you ("Surprise me"). You can change upcoming picks anytime from your private Manage my lineup page.
How much does it cost?
$7 a month for each Tonie you keep at home, plus $1 shipping per monthly box (that covers delivery and the prepaid return). Or get the Year Pass: $72 a year per Tonie at a time, which is 12 Tonies, one a month, with free shipping. That works out to $6 a month and saves $24 a year compared with Monthly. There's no sales tax added.
Do I need my own Toniebox?
Nope! You can rent a Toniebox for $19 a month in the model and color you like (on the Year Pass it's billed yearly, $228), and it ships in your first box with its charger. If you already have one, rented Tonies play on it just like the ones you buy.
How do I get a free month?
Share your personal link. When three friends start a paid membership with it, your next payment moves one month later, so that month is free. Every three more friends earn another free month. Just sending the link doesn't count; your friends need to join.
What if a Tonie gets lost or broken?
It happens! Normal wear and tear is fine. If a Tonie is lost, broken beyond normal wear, or still not back 30 days after it was due, we charge $19 to your card on file (for a rented Toniebox, that model's current us.tonies.com price), and we always email you first. The Rental Agreement has the details.
